Southern Ontario Paranormal Society

Formed in October, 2005, The Southern Ontario Paranormal Society is a not-for-profit team of investigators dedicated to researching the historic and paranormal aspects of reputed hot spots, as well as private residences and places of business.

We have no desire to fake, doctor or mislead with any evidence we collect and present here on our site. Our aim is to find the truth, and to share what we believe may be real evidence of paranormal activity, along with full reports from our investigations.

If you believe you may be experiencing activity in your home or business and need help, please contact us with the details and we will do our best to help you in any way possible. We are committed to helping our clients 100%. This is our first priority.

Although SOPS mainly serves Southern Ontario, we are willing to travel if necessary.

*All of our services are completely free of charge and your information is kept entirely confidential.*

-Thank you so much for everything you and your team did last night for my family and I! It was so great to meet you and the rest of your awesome team! I really feel like I made some great connections with you guys... and last night was the first time in 3 weeks that I actually slept peacefully and wasn't constantly feeling like I needed to look over my shoulder! The information that you provided me with is perfect and explains much in great detail for me! Please keep in touch! My deepest gratitude and thanks to you and the team! - Private Investigation Client (October 2007)

It's Been Awhile!

Hello folks, we just wanted to update you all on what the group has been doing, and will be doing this year! After having our annual beginning of the year meetingwhich saw a very good turn out, we also saw the addition of three new members to the group! We would like to welcome Aaron, Tanya and Russell to the SOPS family!

In fact, earlier this evening we took the new members out for a quick trip to DeForest to go over some basic insight on EVP work as well as some basics on public area haunts. As many of you already know, DeForest has been a key area of research for SOPS since 2005 and continues to be very important historically and on a paranormal level for the group. Much of our research into this little pioneer cemetery is a part of the upcoming documentary CHASING SHADOWS.

Since our last major investigation which was at the Spruce Lane Farmhouse in Oakville, the group has also maintained a very active schedule offering support and vital information to several clients who have contacted us through email. We would like to thank those who have contacted us and sought out some form of assistance. We are a completely not- for-profit group who offer our investigations and research for free.

Coming up in the next few weeks, there will be tons of activity on the site as we are yet again gearing up for a very busy season of investigations. With several lined up already, we will see road trips to Western New York as well as South Western Ontario for a few major investigations. All will be revealed upon after conducting our investigations of these particular locations. So, stay tuned for more!!!

Primary Investigation of the Grand Theatre in London, Ontario is done.

We would like to thank the fine folks at the Grand Theatre in London for allowing us into their facility for our investigation. Though only part of the team was able to make it to the investigation, it was still rather interesting to carry out. We are currently reviewing the evidence and will share once anything is discovered.

Well, here is the final trailer for the upcoming soon to be finished SOPS documentary CHASING SHADOWS. Once again, for those interested, the trailer's music is provided by Ravenshade, whose bassist, James Scott also provided the score for the doc. So, please enjoy this little piece until we complete the film!

Also, here's the latest clip from our friend Rob Stone (Outlaw Ghost Hunter) from Fort Wayne, Indiana! He was down for the Can-Am ParaCon, we were lucky to work with him again during our brief time there in investigating the very historic Lawrence House in Sarnia, Ontario. He's put together a brief episode from our time there in the one room where we experienced some K2 spikes during an EVP session. Enjoy!
